To develop a personal care brand and products inspired by an Olympic sport. My focus was on curly hair and how this could be protected in chlorinated water-and developing a fun, engaging brand that breaks away from the monotonous colour schemes and concepts currently present in the market.
As a result, I created Curleva, a brand which utilises Chlorine-Repel® technology in a range of products including shampoo, conditioner, and protectant spray, which work together to keep curly hair safe from unwanted breakage and dryness.

Alongside product and packaging design, I imagined the wider brand image and how it may appear in poster advertising and product stands in pool receptions. Combining illustrations featuring in the packaging with real-life photography aims to contextualise the brand and how the products are used without detatching from the brand’s identity.
